When visitors come to Yemin Orde, especially these days, it is an incredible morale boost for the staff and for the students.
For the staff, though we personally feel depressed and stressed about the current state of our country, we are always seeking ways to energize ourselves in order to provide our kids the activities, the stability, and the joy they deserve.
Visitors from America give us that energy.
For the students at Yemin Orde, who deserve to be invested in and receive everything that life can offer, visitors provide a tremendous boost to their morale.
This year there are programs that have been canceled because of the war and the kids were so disappointed. But when they see that people are still coming to Israel, it means to them that Israel is not as dangerous as social media portrays.
When visitors to Yemin Orde stop to say hello to them or to ask questions about life in Israel and life at Yemin Orde, it shows them that there are people who believe in us, especially the donors who keep supporting them in these difficult days.
When the ImpactIsrael staff visited us in March it was a very dangerous time to come to Israel. However, they still came, spoke to the kids, and had this energy that they cared for us. They work so hard to provide the resources that allow us to give our kids and graduates the confidence that they need, and their work ensures our kids know there will always be someone there to support them.
So, thank you visitors, for making the time to stop at Yemin Orde and meet our kids and our staff, to see the beauty of this place, the beauty of the kids, and the beauty of their souls. And thank you for sharing with us your love of Israel.
Thank you so much.
